Happy 2013 and welcome to my blog. Once again I will be posting my version of Tim's 12 Tags of 2013 made from all Stampin' Up! products (unless otherwise noted). For this month's tag I chose to go with Not Quite Navy card stock and the new Honeycomb textured impressions embossing folder. I distressed with matching ink and added silver ink highlights with water. The gears and the text were cut from Crumb Cake cardstock using a Silhouette. The ticket tag is also new and from the set called That's the Ticket. (Note: the filmstrip is not Stampin' Up!)

Love your tag, Christy!! That Honeycomb embossing folder is way cool!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteFabulous tag Christy. I love how you've done Tim's tags using SU products.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. I'm a great fan of SU so I'm now your latest follower. Looking forward to having a good look around your blog. xx
obviously like your web site however you have to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts.
ReplyDeleteSeveral of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to tell the truth then again I'll certainly come back again.

You will find many errors on my blog. I am dyslexic.
DeleteIf you could direct me to specific posts that are "rife with spelling problems" I would appreciate it.

I like the honeycomb folder and gears combined and a great colour background.
ReplyDeleteI like this blog because it is 'rife' with inspiration!! I like your adventurous takes on TH tags with SU! products. You really do show how the inspiration can carry over to other brands of products. It's all about ideas and techniques and you don't put yorself in a box. I'm going to have a think about doing an SU! only tag too sometime this year. Happi Noo Yeer. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI feel you make comments on other blogs just to promote yours. It is a form of spam. You should only comment when you really mean it. I would have sent you an email but your contact information here is suspect.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy visiting each person's blog and appreciate all the time and effort they put into each tag. My comments are often brief but genuine and definitely not spam. That being said, I would like people to visit my blog as well to see what I've done and I do not try to hide the fact that I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. My contact information is legitimate and I would be glad to hear any additional concerns you may have regarding this subject.
DeleteChristy, Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the nice comment. I love how you use all stampin up products and give the tags your own spin. I tried to do everything the same as Tim but I like how you made it your own. I think from now on I will do TH way and one my way. Thanks for inspiring me. Shari (cricutrookie)
ReplyDeleteAwesome tag!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
Hi Christy... thanks for your visit, much appreciated. I love your take on Tim's tag - very cool finish on your gears, and their colours look great against the blue honeycomb which I also really love!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I skimmed the other comments, and can't help thinking that both those Anonymous ones look pretty generic - maybe spam themselves. Even if they're real, I've no respect for anyone who can't sign their name to what they've said!! I've blocked Anonymous comments, as the only ones I got were definitely spam, and I found them really irritating.
Look forward to seeing your other TH tags through the year!
Alison x
Thanks for your kind words. Blogger seems to do a good job of blocking Anonymous spam posts but unfortunately I'm going to have to start deleting these types of comments in the future.

My family are spread across from San Francisco to San Diego and we should be over in Sept :)
