I spent the last week catching up on two other projects so sketch #179 was delayed for a week and has been posted below. If you'd like to see what else I've been doing you can see my July tag here and my digital Sketch to Scrapbook pages here.
For Operation Write Home's sketch #180, directly below, I used Stampin' Up's new Strawberry Slush ink, cardstock and the new stamp "By The Tide".
Great cards! I really like the color combination and the nice details on the first card, and that background on the second card is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteboth cards are fabulous! I love your orientation of sketch #180...I am struggling with the 'white space' on the bottom right of the sketch! TFS
ReplyDeleteLove your cards! They are both so nice and bold. I just love the wood embossing on the first card with the rope. And the colors behind the silhouette flowers are just gorgeous! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI need that fish stamp now. Love these cards.
ReplyDeleteWow, very pretty! No especially love the second warner color card. How did you do that? Very sharp and professional!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl. The technique is called acetate and tissue and can be found here. http://hokiecoyote.blogspot.com/2012/03/step-by-step.html#.UdnYpha5vPU
DeleteHa! We both had fishy thoughts this week! I love that stamp, need that ink, which I'm guessing you double stamped? The color choices were wonderful! And although I'm blown away by the second and am going to follow your link, I'm thinking that's way beyond my skillset!
DeleteThe fish card is very nice, I'd love to know more about the second card, lovely.
