Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2015 (Nov)

Happy November and end to Daylight Saving Time (not Savings).  For this month's tag from Tim, I used Etcetera Design Series Paper from SU for the background, QWERTY fridge magnets from themonsterfactory.com and the rooster is from SU's Rustic Rooster set.

OWH - Sketch #192

It's not quite October but I thought I would get jump on my Halloween cards using Operation Write Home's sketch #192.  I used Stampin' Up's Witches Brew Designer Series Paper. The bat is from the retired "Googly Ghouls" set.

Birthday Butterflies

No sketch today, just a birthday card for my sister-in-law. The butterflies are recycled from a Thank You card that she gave us months ago. I had no idea that the newspaper DSP in the background was discussing butterfly caterpillars until I posted the photos.

Glitter Window Swap

Here is this month's glitter window technique swap. I started with Stampin' Up's Labels Collection framelits to create the window and then adhered clear packing tape to the back of the Holiday Thyme DSP. I sprinkled glitter onto the tape  and spread it out with my finger until the tape was no longer tacky.  I stamped the tree from the Flakey Friends set and cut it out using the same size framelit as the window, I just repositioned the framelit and cut it a second time to make  the image narrower.  I finished the card by attaching the DSP to the cherry cobbler cardstock using stampin dimensionals.  I would definitely recommend staying with a chunky glitter.  The fine glitter I used looks nice close up but I'm not sure if it will keep the window from sticking to the inside of an envelope.
