Happy Birthday Easel Cards

Yeah, I know it's been a while. This month my mother and my best friend from college celebrated birthdays so I broke out the old easel card. Wow, did I forget how cool these were and how much the recipients love having something that they can sit on their desk or table. Most of the supplies came from my SU stash with distressing courtesy of Tim Holtz. Enjoy!

Happy Mother's Day - Pop-up 3D Card

I found the template for this card on Martha Stewart's website. The paper is from SU but really old. I would recommend using something other than cardstock for the flowers; I'm thinking origami paper would work great.

Last weekend my husband's nephew and wife renewed their vows to celebrate their 10th anniversary. I found this pop & twist card on Pinterest with great step by step instructions from The Craft Spa.

Happy Birthday - Popup Card

Today my nephew turns 10 years old but of course you're never too old for dinosaurs. I got the idea for this card from Pinterest and Chlo's Craft Closet. The stamps and dies are from SU. A link to the instructions can be found on my previous post.

Happy 90th Birthday Patrick!

Today is Patrick's 90th birthday and I wanted to post some photos of the box card that I made for him.   Aside from being an amazing card, it lays flat for mailing in an A2 envelope. The template for the card was courtesy of Lori Whitlock using a template I downloaded through Silhouette's website. If you're interested in making the card on your own I am linking to Lori's blog and her YouTube video. You can also google for additional instructions and templates.

Double Slider Card Swap

Here is the final card swap for this year's technique album, the double slider card.  I thought I would be creative and turn the card sideways which created all sorts of problems including the huge blank space on the top of the card.  Oh well.  The cake effect once you pull out the slider was completely unintentional.  I also posted some instructions here.
