Happy Birthday - 64

This month my family is celebrating three birthdays. Here is the first card that I made using paper from a Tim Holtz Ideology paper pack (I think) and ephemera that I've had for years. All three cards were made on the same day and have a similar theme.

Another Bridge Card

I am totally loving this Golden Gate bridge stamp from Etsy. This time I embossed in gold and splattered inside and out with gold ink. Happy 13th Birthday Nathan!

Happy Birthday - Popup Card

Today my nephew turns 10 years old but of course you're never too old for dinosaurs. I got the idea for this card from Pinterest and Chlo's Craft Closet. The stamps and dies are from SU. A link to the instructions can be found on my previous post.

Golf Card

It's taken me a while to post this Father's Day card from last month but better late than never. The golfer is a cut file from Silhouette and all the other products are from SU.

Happy Birthday Ken!  The papers, staples, embossing and "birthday" stamp are from SU.  The "happy" die is from Heidi Swapp and the typewriter embellishments are magnets from themonsterfactory.com. 

OWH - Sketch #166

Happy Easter! Here is my card for Operation Write Home's sketch #166. In lieu of the three corner embellishments I used one of Stampin' Up's new "Hung Up Cute Clips". The sentiment inside the thought bubble is a rub-on and the labrador retriever was cut using my silhouette.

OWH - Sketch #165

Here is this week's sketch from Operation Write Home. The background paper is a kraft card stock with a clear embossed pattern that I distressed slightly with chocolate chip ink. The scalloped border was punched from a metallic patterned paper (retired) and the natural trim ribbon, which is my all-time favorite, was distressed and tied with the magic bow maker.

Happy Sunday and welcome to my blog. Here is my card for sketch #161 from Operation Write Home. The sentiment showcased in the oval is heat embossed and from Stampin' Up's Alphabet Soup set (2006). I created the scalloped edging by attaching 1/2" circles along the back of the oval and I chose a background paper with a raised velvet pattern to add additional texture.

OWH - Sketch #155

Here is my take on last Sunday's sketch from Operation Write Home. I used the ferris wheel stamp from the Feeling Sentimental set (available Jan 26th) and added a rub on sentiment from Chat Room. The natural trim ribbon is also new from Stampin' Up. Another masculine card!
