The theme for this month's tag from Tim is layered stencils. Although I don't have any stencils, I used a chevron paper punch and a serif alphabet die from Stampin' Up! and applied crackle paint and ink through them as if they were stencils. The hexagons were stamped with versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. The butterflies were stamped with StazOn so the ink would adhere to the embossing. The only non Stampin' Up! item is the typewriter letter from Levenger (no longer available).
As ALWAYS!!...gorgeous tag! Love the colors and how you made your own stencil! Great job!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I like the chevron stencil you used on your tag and ribbon. The colors look great, too. I also really like your quote...and where does that hexagon stencil come from. I like the stripes through the shapes...very cool, indeed!
ReplyDeleteOops, should have read your post first, lol...the "stencils" are actually a punch and a stamp...great idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty tag, great idea on the punch to make a stencil!!
