Last month my father-in-law celebrated his 91st birthday so I thought this photo of him and his two sons would be perfect for this month's tag from Tim. For the background I used sticky canvas instead of burlap and I added a variety of ephemera including airmail printables from pinterest.
How wonderful to include your FIL's picture on your tag. Love your take on Tim's May tag and am totally impressed that you got it made already! Thanks for your kind comment on my blog and happy belated birthday to your father-in-law.
ReplyDeleteYou used a personal picture too and you are right it is so much more meaningful. I love your simple flowers
ReplyDeleteA great take on Tim's tag! Love that dash of green there! ;
ReplyDeleteAnd the photograph is just perfect! xx
Hi Christy, Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a comment! I don't get very many so I was thrilled :) I was even happier when I followed your comment to your blog and found out that you are doing the Tim Holtz tag challenge, too! I really like that you used a personal photo, that makes your tag so much more meaningful and your embellishments are wonderful...the crackled flowers are brilliant! Hugs, Janet
