Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2012 (December)

What a great way to end a year of tags. This month's December tag is Christmas themed (of course) but there's also a bonus tag from January 2012.  Once again I'm using all Stampin' Up! products when available but there are two non Stampin' Up! items; the poinsettia bling and the crackle paint on January's tag.   Hopefully, I succeeded in demonstrating that you didn't have to go out and buy all new products to emulate Tim Holtz's technique.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and I'd like to wish you all a safe and happy holiday season.  At the bottom of my post is a link to all 12 tags.  I can't say that I had a favorite but I was amazed every month at what I could create.

  1. Every month I look forward to checking out your take on Tim's Tags. You always have the most beautiful creations! This month is no exception. They're both GORGEOUS! =D

  2. Lovely tags! The polar is sweet and the reindeer beautiful!

  3. Just gorgeous, as always! Thanks for all you do all year!

  4. Love your take on Tim's cards! These are just amazing. I love the gorgeous poinsettia and the cute little bears!

  5. Love all the texture you put into your cards. They are beautiful!

  6. Your tags are so pretty, the poinsettia looks amazing! I plan to finish my second tag later (after trip to hairdresser in the snow)

  7. I love your take on the TH tags. I definitely agree that it's best to develop your own designs, and only use Tim's techniques as inspiration. Blessings!

  8. Your tags are beautiful Christy! I cant pick a favourite because each of them are so fantastic in their own way! I am now a follower of your blog. Every artist becomes a bit richer when we admire anothers work. I am learning so much from you!
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog for the Pointsettia tags!! You made my day!

  9. Great tags!! I'm so like you, i never seem to have everything Tim uses but manage to make do with what I have.
    Happy Holidays!
    hugs Lynn

  10. They both have a special style, love them, especially the one with the deer stamp, just beautiful!
