OWH - Sketch #206

Happy New Year and welcome to another year of cards made from Operation Write Home sketches. I have to admit that I really struggled with this week's sketch. I think it was partially due to the fact that I didn't have any fancy circle cutters or dies but mostly because everyone else's cards were so darn cute. Just when I was ready to give up I found this scrunched up piece of paper, tossed out my layered pieces and voila, done.

  1. The scrunched paper is perfect! Adds great texture to the very many color combination.

  2. Your card is just beautiful! I struggled with the sketch too...I think it was because of all the layers with the circles. I love using that raffia stuff, wish I had thought of that!
