R.I.P. Cousin Haddy

This past week the girls had to say goodbye to Cousin Haddy. Since 2016 she lived with Aunt Mary where she had an awesome life being an only child. A constant shadow with tons of attitude. She will be missed.

Happy Halloween!

This tag features another stamp from Tim Holtz's 2019 Stampers anonymous set along with four of the sentiments in the set. I fussy cut around this guy and added shadow with colored pencils. Happy Birthday #2

One of my best friend's from high school is celebrating a birthday this month. She has been going through some tough times with her parents and doesn't take much time for herself. Although it's a small gesture, I thought this Tim Holtz inspired butterfly card would put a smile on her face. The paper is from Idea-ology and the butterfly stamp is from SU.

I made this Birthday card for my sister-in-law who loves gardening and has a beautiful yard. The focal point of this card is a wooden trellis/gate from Wycinanka. The papers are from Tim Holtz's Idea-ology 8"x8" Etcetera pack.

 

Random Tag

This morning I watched Tim Holtz live on FB and was inspired to create this tag. I'm not sure when or where I got this magazine photo but for reason I kept it in my stash.

Monster Reunion Tag - Someone Say Candy?

I haven't made tags in such a long time but I couldn't resist these stamps from Tim Holtz. Although I missed out on Monster Reunion 2 during Stamptember this set is still pretty cool and perfect for my 12 year old nephew.

Our Journey

This is a sympathy card that I made for some friends of ours that had to put down their beloved Gabby. Inside the card I included a family photo taken this past summer in Alaska. The wood veneer is from Cocoa Daisy and the Crazy Dogs stamp is from Tim Holtz.

Sympathy Card

Last week a friend of mine had to put down his young German Shepherd due to a rare infection called  diskospondylitis. I had this card base in my stash and was able to add a nice sympathy quote on the inside along with one of Tim Holtz's Crazy Dogs on the outside.

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2016 (Dec)

Happy December! Here is my twelfth and final tag for Tim's 12 Tags of 2016. As with previous years, I relied on my stash and improvised as needed while still trying to stay true to Tim's style. For this tag I used ephemera, inks and sprays from Ranger, poinsettia paper and punch elements from SU, and burlap from an old place setting. On January 1st I will be posting all twelve tags as part of a Year in Review. Hope you enjoy!

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2016 (Nov)

Twelve down and one to go...another great year of tags in the making from Tim.  As usual, I did not have all the supplies needed but I had similar products and utilized Tim's techniques. The rub-ons are just random images from my stash but I really liked the resist effect it created. Unfortunately my letter dies were far too big for the tag so I used a wood embellishment which actually worked well with the fall theme. Now on to Christmas and winter. Yikes.
