This cute little guy was created using a 3-step polymer stamp set from SU where each layer of the bird was stamped in a different color with a slightly different image.

SBC - Sketch 485
As a massive heat wave rolls into Southern California I thought this baseball picture of my brother and his family attending an afternoon ballgame in DC was appropriate. This is Sketch #485 from Scrapbook Challenges.

Happy Birthday Card
I made this quick and simple card for my BFF from high school. She always said that I had a thing for the "color" black...I have no idea what's she's talking about. Enjoy!

Cascading Card
We were invited to a birthday party and specifically told not to bring any gifts. ....so what's a crafty girl to do other than make a fabulous birthday card? I found the idea for this cascading card on Pinterest so I have to give a shoutout to Dr. Sonia. The only change I made was to add a solid panel to the front and back of the card. When folded flat it fits in a 6x6 envelope. All the products used are from SU.

Welcome Haddy!
Today our two girls (with 4 legs each) are going to meet their new their cousin Haddy. She is a miniature schnauzer originally from Oregon and got to fly to California with her new mom to start her new life. We thought it would be really cool to welcome her to the family with this dog themed card using supplies from SU.

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2016 (Mar)
For this month's tag from Tim, I used cardboard to create the texture and tore away pieces to expose the corrugation. For the texture within the butterfly I opted to use an embossing folder and markers. Since my butterfly die was so large I had to turn the tag horizontally which I believe is a first for me.

SBC - Sketch #471
These photos were taken on Valentine's Day near our house. It's a local mountain road that closes every winter so it's a great place to walk with the girls. Unlike the rest of the country we've been having unseasonably warm weather so it was a perfect day. This is sketch #471 from Scrapbook Challenges.

For this week's sketch from Scrapbook Challenges I'm sharing more biking photos. As you can see, this bike trail ends at a cul-de-sac. How cool is that? All the papers used are from SU's digital collection.

SBC - Sketch #468
Last week we rode in our first organized ride, the Tour de Palm Springs. The weather was absolutely spectacular at 70 degrees and we finished our 25 mile ride in 2 hours.

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2016 (Jan)
Happy New Year and welcome (back?) to my blog. If you've been following me you'll know that I'm a die hard Tim Holtz fan and I live for his monthly tag challenges. You may also know that I'm a SU demonstrator and I often use SU products. That being said, my goal is not to sell you anything but only to share in the creativity inspired by Tim. Enjoy!

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2015 (Dec)
Well, it's hard to believe that another year is coming to an end and I've managed to complete all twelve tag challenges from Tim for the fourth year in a row. For this year's final tag I used SU fabric for the background and the Wondrous Wreath set and coordinating dies for the wreath. Stay tuned next week for my annual Christmas Card as well as a posting of all 12 Tags of 2015. Be safe!

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2015 (Nov)
Happy November and end to Daylight Saving Time (not Savings). For this month's tag from Tim, I used Etcetera Design Series Paper from SU for the background, QWERTY fridge magnets from themonsterfactory.com and the rooster is from SU's Rustic Rooster set.
