I made this card for my step-father after seeing something similar on Pinterest. He's an outdoorsy kind of guy so I thought the theme was well suited for him.

Stuck?! Layout #2 (Sep) - Explore
We are extremely fortunate to live near several US Forest areas and have the opportunity to go hiking whenever we'd like. Almost every time we go we see something new, so I thought this photo of a lone tree would go well with the second sketch of the month from Stuck?!Sketches.

Card Swap - Masking Tape Technique
Happy Wednesday! Here is this month's card swap for the Masking Tape Technique. Rather than try to create a faux background or some type of distressed look, I kept it simple and applied the inked masking tape in stripes. I finished the card with a classic stamp from Stampin' Up!, "Lovely As A Tree."

Crackle
This tag was made by applying crackle paint to the cardstock and then sponging and stamping over the crackle. The tree is from the Lovely As A Tree set and was stamped with StazOn.
