Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2015 (Dec)

Well, it's hard to believe that another year is coming to an end and I've managed to complete all twelve tag challenges from Tim for the fourth year in a row. For this year's final tag I used SU fabric for the background and the Wondrous Wreath set and coordinating dies for the wreath.  Stay tuned next week for my annual Christmas Card as well as a posting of all 12 Tags of 2015.  Be safe!

Merry Christmas!

Here is this year's Christmas card. The idea came from Pinterest (of course). Credit goes to Paula Reid, a fellow SU demonstrator. The Wondrous Wreath stamp set and coordinating dies are from SU.

Christmas Card Preview

For the last decade or so I have been making my own Christmas Cards using supplies from Stampin' Up! Over the years, some of them have been very elaborate and I've often found myself asking, "What on earth was I thinking?" For the last few years I have been getting my card ideas from Pinterest and they've been much more practical and have not required extra postage. So, here is a preview of this year's card.

OWH - Sketch #239

Happy Saturday. Here is my card for Operation Write Home's sketch #239. The focal point of my card is SU's new "Wondrous Wreath" stamp set and matching framelit sentiment which SU offers as a bundle. Since the wreath was so large I couldn't follow the dimensions of the sketch but I tried to maintain many of the basic components.

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2013 (Dec)

This month's tag from Tim featured a product that I didn't have so I decided to recycle a free card that I received from the National Audubon Society. I started with a piece of navy card stock and applied silver ink through a burlap template. I distressed the edges and stamped snowflakes using the same silver ink. I stamped the sentiment on the border from the card and attached a small key from Stampin'  Up!  To finish the card I sprayed yellow glitter mist and attached a yellow piece of seam binding ribbon.
