Stick It Down - September 1-Page Layout

Here is my one page layout for Stick It Down's September sketch. These photos were actually taken outdoors in a cleverly designed "photo booth" using an iPad. I created the sentiment using the Procreate app on my iPad.

Stuck?! Layout #2 (Mar) - Adventure

We are very fortunate to live near a National Forest and we spend lots of time hiking with our dogs.  During the winter months a section of State highway is closed due to snow and rockfall, and serves as a great paved hiking trail with spectacular views. The inspiration for this layout came from Stuck?! Sketches.

SBC - Sketch #471

These photos were taken on Valentine's Day near our house.  It's a local mountain road that closes every winter so it's a great place to walk with the girls.  Unlike the rest of the country we've been having unseasonably warm weather so it was a perfect day. This is sketch #471 from Scrapbook Challenges.

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2015 (May)

Last month my father-in-law celebrated his 91st birthday so I thought this photo of him and his two sons would be perfect for this month's tag from Tim. For the background I used sticky canvas instead of burlap and I added a variety of ephemera including airmail printables from pinterest.

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2014 (Aug)

This month's tag from Tim is a collection of all his favorite things and techniques. For my tag I used a vintage sewing pattern image placed over embossed letters and tissue tape (i.e., in lieu of texture paste).

Tim Holtz - 12 Tags of 2012 (March)

For this month's tag I used the acetate technique and actually stamped the woodgrain directly onto the tissue paper before adhering the acetate.  The butterfly was cut using Stampin' Up's Beautiful Butterflies Die.  I copied the mosaic technique used by Tim and covered the whole thing with clear embossing powder.  All products used on the tag are Stampin' Up! except for the film strip at the bottom of the tag.
Here is the link to Tim's tag and blog post.
